My passion is watercolor. Every painting is an original that I do..
At present I do not specialize on any one particular subject I like to try all types of subjects. I mostly use watercolor, but have done some acrylic painting.
Ever since I took my first watercolor class at the Caladium Arts & Crafts Co-Operative in Lake Placid Florida… I was hooked. I have been with the Caladium Arts & Crafts Co-Operative since November 2016. I am now a Board Member of the Caladium Arts & Crafts Co-Operative. Elected in 2020. I hold the advertisement position there, and also serve on the Jury Board. We hold jury once a week. Any item brought in the store by the artist must be juried. We have high standards, and each item must meet those standards. Every Thursday there are new items on the floor.
Water-coloring is an old ancient form of painting. I think that the cave men used watercolor in some way… I started late in life watercolor painting, but have always been a craftier… I attended many craft shows in Maine, and was very successful in selling my items. I had an eclectic assortment of items for sale. Dolls, paintings, wooden crafts, and too many to list. I still have assortment of items for sale at the Caladium Arts & Crafts Co-Operative. Painting, prints of my paintings, cards, magnets, bookmarks, wind chimes and painted rocks.
I am also a widow with three children. I live in the Sebring, Florida area.. My daughter lives in the large state of Texas, I have a son in Georgia and a son in New York. I also have grandchildren and great grandchildren.
